Good Morning!!

We had a good memorial day weekend, although we didn't do the BBQ thing, instead we finished painting our bedroom, and it is done!!! I just have to put it all back together again...will post before and after shots later...have a great Tuesday!!

Silly Sisters

My Mom and I took the girls to Disneyland a couple of weeks ago. We did a lot more stuff in CDA or DCA, whatever, this time. Saw a little bugs life show. Rode all the little rides there...it was a nice change...we normally head over to Dland and ride 3 rides, and then its time to go...lines are sooo long there. It was nice this time...the girls were able to get out of the stroller for a while and walk/run around....

Tea for Tots

Between the burps and giggles, these little ladies in their pretty little dresses had such a good time! McKenzie had her first little tea party with her best friend "Becca" and her best sister Haylee. They would burp, and then giggle, and then pour each other a cup of tea (tang really)...and say thank you darling, with a somewhat english accent...it was too funny to watch!! McKenzie wanted flower shaped pb&js, heart shaped watermelon and pink cake and cupcakes. It was a lot of fun! Afterwards they played and played and played. Then off to take a nap they went...I can't imagine what these 2 will be like when preschool starts!!

Mother Daughter Tea

Earlier this month McKenzie and I went to a tea with my Mom and sister (Haylee was with her Dad at Disneyland). It was nice. Yummy finger sandwhiches, salad, tea...decorated tables with all kinds of pretty tea pots and china...so girly. We had a great time. McK loved it!

WOOO HOOOO He won!! Yeah for Taylor Hicks!!! Really glad he won!!!! Good for him!!! Katharine is awesome too! She will do well too!!! SOUL PATROL!!!!

Divided household

We have been watching American Idol and I am for Taylor and Robbie is for Catherine! We are divided! Who do you think will win? Who do you like best?? or do you even care?? LOL!! SOUL PATROL!!! LOL!!!

Turtle syndrom

yes, I am slow (like a turtle) to post lately...I have actually been waiting for my pics to be uploaded by the hubby, but he's/we've been super busy...
-getting my bedroom ready to paint! Yeah!! I am so, so excited about that! I'll post before and after pics...
-went to McKenzie's preschool for an open house last night. She is so excited. Her and Rebekah are kindred spirits, they held hands just about the whole time. It was too sweet!
-McKenzie's tea party was a hit! The girls had a blast...sorry no pics yet.
-I have been going to the Y three days a week for their Bowflex circuit class...it's alot like the curves program. It has been so good! I can't tell you what a difference it makes...the class if full of older ladies, ranging from 58-71 years old! I am the youngest and some of them kick my butt! Most go 5 days a week and do more than just the Bowflex training. It's amazing how image concious women still are at 58 and 60 years old! I am dong this for my health. Loosing weight is just a perk...for me at least! I have never been a small girl, and I have always been fine with that...it's just how I was made, but since having kids, the "extra" weight has slowed me down, way down...I DON'T like that!! Plus, I want to set an example for my girls too. We are working on eating better and watching what we put in our bodies, so that we can be healthy, active people! Woobury's Retirement

to all my choir friends who read this blog, ya know who you are....I haven't heard anything more about retirement party plans. I received an email for some scrapbook ideas and haven't heard from her since. From what it sounded like, they are making a scrapbook and will present it to him at his last concert which I think will be in June at Major works. Haven't heard of any reception or anything afterwards, which would be a shame if there is nothing. If any of you have heard anything let me know... I will try and get some more info so keep checking.

Tea for Two

so on wednesday McKenzie will be having a tea party with her little friend, Rebekah, whom she has known, well since the womb. They are just 10 days apart. This was them about a week after Rebekah was born. Now, they are both 3 years old and will be going to preschool together. McKenzie is so excited about that!

I will post pics, it should be really cute! Flower shaped PB&J's, watermelon, tang and pink cupcakes are on the menu, all at McKenzie's request of course. I know they will have a blast!! Can't wait to report it!!

Just checking in...

it's been a few days...been a little busy...not much really going on...I am working on getting some scrap pages done this week, I hope to post them soon! I have so many ideas and I need to focus on just one to get it done...hopefully the next few posts will be more exciting than this one...anyway, have a great a MONDAY!
